Welcome to the Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park and Rescue Centre
A great day out for all the family! (Straight from the horses mouth!)
You will find something for everyone enjoy interesting tours, talks and displays, FREE Heavy Horse Wagon Rides, Tractor and Trailer rides and even the chance to Drive a real Farm tractor!! There's a busy timetable of hands on interaction with the friendly farm animals including over 20 rescued heavy horses, donkeys, miniature ponies, kunie kunie pigs, goats, sheep, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, snow dogs and many more!
The children will be kept amused with pony rides, a go cart arena fun straw barn giant bouncy castle and play areas. Explore the blacksmiths workshop, gypsy wagons (and Romany talks) and exhibits from days gone by. Treat yourself to some home cooked food in the cafe surrounded by a backdrop of splendid countryside views. There's lots undercover in case the weathers not so kind. By visiting you will be helping to support the home for over 20 rescued Heavy Horses. A great day out that won’t break the bank!!
